Why was built
“At 38, retinitis pigmentosa caught up with me.”
I used to drive for hours through the night, across Los Angeles and deep into the Nevada desert. Then, slowly, the dark stopped giving anything back. There came a day I could not walk into a dimly lit restaurant on my own.
Retinitis pigmentosa does not arrive all at once. It takes the edges first, then the low light, then details you did not realize you were relying on. For a while you compensate. You sit facing the window. You memorize the room. You stop being the one who suggests the restaurant. Nobody around you notices how much smaller the world has become, because you are the one quietly making it smaller.

The story behind
Built from lived experience
Founder Noam Yahav lived with a retinal disease that took his night vision. He searched online and at exhibitions worldwide, found nothing that met his needs, and built the first prototype himself.

“I could not find what I needed, so I built it”
I am an entrepreneur. When I could not find a solution, I set out to build one. Not a magnifier, not a brighter lamp, not a bigger screen, because none of those touch what a degenerative retinal disease actually takes. I wanted the picture itself rebuilt, in real time, into something my eyes could still use.
“My sister is the reason it became a company”
My sister lives with severe retinitis pigmentosa. Once I had built something that made a difference for me, I had to know whether it could do anything for her. She tried it, and she told me it changed things in her daily life in ways she could point to.
That was the moment stopped being a personal project. If it could do that for her, there were thousands of people it could reach, each of them seeing differently, many of them told for years that there was nothing left to try.
What we built
With a small engineering team and a lot of sleepless months, we built a system of six specialized viewing modes for the moments that matter most: daylight, night, print, screens, outlines and television. Patent pending.
It began with retinitis pigmentosa, and it is built for people living with degenerative retinal diseases more broadly.
How we talk about it
I have been on the other side of this. I know what it is like to be promised a miracle by a company that has never met you. So we do not promise. Every eye is different, results vary, and the only honest way to find out whether is useful to you is to put it on and see for yourself.
